At McCollum Studio Architects, we strive to illuminate the materiality, texture, and scale of the state of Texas through a deep devotion to craft, texture, and detail. Our approach to designing the human habitat is heavily influenced by the timeless context surrounding us. Every site whispers inspiration as we step onto it; from the grain pattern and joinery detailed in our Douglas Fir soffits to the forest-like depth we achieve in our layered approach to visibility and sight lines, we create a specificity with our architecture that is suited to that site alone so that the project and the place merge even closer every moment that passes.
